Bionic Gear Bag No 2, plus tutorial

Um diesen Text auf deutsch zu lesen, klicke bitte auf das DE oben auf der Seite.

My husband had asked for a Bionic Gear Bag, but not for embroidery-stuff :-). He wants to have all his music-notions with him all the time (capo, strings, mini-speakers, plectrum, pencils and so on).

I'm happy to make a second one.
But this time I take lots of photos and write my own tutorial. When I make a third one, it's much faster to read my own tutorial than to read the official one from Craftsys (which is not a very good one) or to watch all the videos again (which are very good, but time-consuming).

update 2019: Craftsy was bought by bluprint, but bluprint does not sell the pattern either. The author has her own website sewlikearockstar.com. It might be possible to buy the pattern there. If you managed that, let me know, I'll write an update here.

Here we go!

1. Cutting and interfacing (pieces B-L)

2. Piece A - preparing the exterior part

3. Zippers

4. Zipper-pockets

5. Preparing the side-pieces I

6. Attaching the side-pieces I

7. Attaching piece A

8. Binding J

9. Long zipper

10. the finished bag

... and this is the whole tutorial for download

Please let me know when you made a bag with this tutorial - I'd love to publish a photo of your bag (and if you wish with a link to your site).

Thanks so much for rewriting this pattern. I too found it too wordy. I did pay for Sally's video and it was detailed so it made up for all the wordiness. She did good job there.

Wo bekommt man denn das Schnittmuster für dieses Tasche? Wenn ich auf den Craftsy Link klicke, ist es dort leider nicht verfügbar...
