During Ying & Yang I made another quilt for the Ukraine, this time only out of scraps that I couldn't use anywhere else. For my usual scrap-quilts I need at least one main colour, but these scraps where just multicolour. Beautiful, but multicolour. So I made a multicolour quilt in a Jelly-roll-way.

To separate the different fabrics I used squares of dark red Kona Cotton.

But - the quilt didn't become beautiful.
What did I learn? To combine everything I need a strong theme. The squares were a good idea, but I should've used much much more of them.
