The next quilt for the Ukraine, again a pattern by Bonnie Hunter: Sister's Choice. I made this quilt as a leader-ender-project during other quilts: The 9-patches were created during the guitar-bag and the stars during Thomas' quilt.

I used up a lot of my gifted scraps in brown and yellow!

But I still don't have a variety of neutrals, so I decided to use the same neutral and the same red for all the blocks.

Done!

The special effect of this quilt: I quilted spirals instead of straight lines or freemotion. I like the result, I only failed at the very beginning. But you can see it only on the back, I used Nylon thread on the top.
