One of my favourite blogs is written by Barbara from Hillsboro, Oregon. Sie bloggs here: catpatches.blogspot.de/
On her blog I found the pattern for the Quilting Snowladies, there are 12 of them. One is cuter than the other. The pattern is not for quilting, but for embroidery.
You can order the pattern at chickadeehollowdesigns, they also offer the floss.
I just love these ladies.
I won't post photos with progress for each lady, only the finished ladies. (And I'm still figuring out how to take good photos - so stay tuned)
And by the way - I can use my brandnew Bionic Gear Bag for this project!
Done!
It took me a year to finish the blocks. I worked on them only when I was travelling (by train), never at home.
I framed each block (I found that possibility on Barbaras blog).
There was not enough fabric left, otherwise I would've made the border wider.
I played with the settings of my camera, the result you can see here.
I can't decide which version I like better, so I chose to show both versions.
But the original colour of the main fabric is creme/beige, not white.

at 20.12.2019These are just great! I love all of them - especially Stitching friends forever. I will have to check out this pattern. I think you finished it off just perfectly. The frames highlight the stitching and don't take over. Perfect. ~smile~
