New year - new memories -

The recipient gets two quilts. He chose Carolina Chain (Bonnie Hunter) for the first one. We had to buy more fabric, he didn't have enough light blouses/shirts.

... and of course the bobbin run out at this last piece of fabric. I had to wind a new one with about 1 meter...

 

 

I hope these quilts is are little consolation for him - his wife died in a car accident.

    Two delightful 'memory' quilts! I especially like your 'carolina chain' quilt, very effective in this more restricted palette. I have just finished the same quilt too!
