Late in December - just in time before Christmas - I made a quilt for a friend who wants to give it as a christmas present. He chose the Double Irish Chain-pattern and orange as the main colour.
The orange fabric matches exactly the flowers on my cutting table!

I tried a new quilting pattern. Well, not exactly new, I used it in the Masterpiece (block 15). But since then I hadn't quilted it. But we thought it would work with this modern quilt:

The B-blocks with the shirt-pieces got a 'standard'-loop:

That's the quilting-pattern on the backing - you can't see the details with blue thread on blue fabric.
