A friend of my parents had asked for a quilt. She already chose the fabric but left it up to me to decide the pattern.

The quilt had to be finished within very few days so there was no time for a fancy pattern.

I opted for a simple rail-fence-pattern from Harriet Hargraves book The Quilter’s Academy Volume 1. Even the quilting-design is from that book, again straight and diagonal lines with nylon thread.

Good to know I can make such a big quilt within seven days respectively evenings.
