I collected a bunch of bonus-triangles over the past two years, all of them are kind of blue. There are not enough for a big quilt, but definitely enough for a baby-quilt.

For the center I used the bonus-triangles from Bonnie Hunter's Tropical Twist.

I added a blue border. And then the hourglass-blocks from Bonnie Hunter's My Blue Heaven. And another blue border.

For the last round I used the half-square-triangles from My Blue Heaven.
The quilt is big enough, no more borders are needed!

I had a lot of fun to quilt this small quilt. Each section got another quilt pattern:

the center
the first border
the second border
the backing

Isn't it cute?

    I love this! So many different, yet complementary shades of blue. As a new quilter who is just learning, I am drawn to this beautiful baby quilt. Thank you for sharing.

    I love it! Great use of the bonus triangles. I do the same thing and use in borders or on the backs.

    Beautiful blues and how wonderful that they were 'left overs' a bonus. Lovely quilting too.
